Intro to Watercolour Nudes: RECORDING
Youtube link downloadable via pages after purchase (please email email@example.com if you encounter any difficulties)
In this introductory class we'll be looking at how to use watercolours to create luminous nudes. With step-by-step instruction, all skill levels are invited to join, as Ann will be covering, among other things,
--Warm and Cool Tones
--Reflected Light and Luminousity
--Mixing Flesh Tones
--Drafting your Painting
We'll start the class with several exercises in using warm and cool tones to create depth, and briefly explore the different mark making techniques available to you when using watercolours. We'll move on to an exploration of flesh tones and reflected light before a step-by-step draw along and then paint along nude painting.
Watercolour nudes are notoriously difficult, so if you're a beginner please don't worry--there's no judgement or grading here. The best way to learn is to approach the class as an exploration and learning experience--the more experiments you're willing to make the better artist you'll become!
