Learn how to draw hands with on-screen demos and plenty of exercises in this experienced focussed class on drawing hands! You can expect to be drawing almost the whole time with SLD tutor Ann Mackowski breaking down the information you need to draw hands by drawing on-screen examples paralleling hands for you to draw yourself. As with all our mini-courses, this class is designed to model the experience of a real, in-person class, with students welcome to ask questions, receive feedback through intermittent show-and-tells, and get to know other hand-enthusiasts around the globe.
This class is suitable for anyone from complete beginners to more experienced artists.
We’re going to be working on;
Basic Shapes
Anatomical Structure Drawing
Superficial Details, Shading, and Contours
We recommend you bring
A High H pencil (so 4H-8H), any B pencil, and an eraser.
As always, if you want a visual markup where Ann will correct your work by drawing on screen, you can e mail one work from class to her afterwards.
Hands are tricky, but once you get into the details they’re absolutely addictive!
Hope to see you there!
