Beginners' Watercolour Portraiture (New)

In this brand new watercolour portraiture class we're going to be learning how to create vibrant paintings using a layering technique. As a beginners class, we'll be covering all the basics with a review of how to use watercolours and how to create skin tones before moving on to building form and colour using a special brush technique. Ann will be using a watercolour palette, although you’re welcome to bring watercolours in tubes. It’s recommended that you bring a set that contains earth tones (Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Crimson, Etc…), but we’ll be covering how to create any colour out of red, yellow and blue.
-Watercolours (any type/brand fine) *necessary
-Watercolour Paper (the thicker the better) *necessary
-Tape if you have it (painting tape ideal)
-Watercolour Brushes
-Two Cups of Water *necessary
-Paper Towel or Rags
-Hairdryer
