Hands, Hands, Hands!
Tues June 14 19:00-21:00 BST
UPDATE: ZOOM LINK DOWNLOADABLE AFTER PAYMENT
In this class participants will be taught to draw that most frustrating of body parts for artists—the hands! Believe it or not, there are some simple ways of drawing those finicky fingers, and by the end of this class you should be able to approach any hand with confidence!
Students will be taught how to
—Understand and represent the structures of the hand
—The different ways of conveying the hands on small and large scales
and
—Drawing the hand from all angles
Through use of presentation, examples, and plenty of student exercises, tutor Ann Mackowski will walk you step by step through how to draw hands, and be able to answer questions at all times. At the end of class, we’ll have a little group critique—after which students are welcome to e mail works from the class to Ann for a more detailed visual mark-up and critique.
