Life Drawing: How It's Done
Sunday Oct 3, 18:00-20:00 UK Time (10AM-12PM US Pacific)
ZOOM LINK + INSTRUCTIONS BELOW ⬇️⬇️
Taught by SLD Founder and Lead Tutor Ann Mackowski, this introductory-level draw-along workshop will show you step by step how the structure of a life drawing class works, and how to build your life drawing practice. She'll be giving you on-screen drawing instructions using reference photos, giving you the opportunity to understand exactly what you should be looking at and how. This class will cover everything from gesture to proportion and composition, starting off with short 2 minute poses, during which time we'll practice line work and memorisation, and progressively build up into longer poses
The class will mirror one of Soho Life Drawing’s Guided Classes while breaking the progression of poses down into pieces, and with the added benefit of on-screen demonstrations and a more detailed approach of the progression of drawing methods used in a life drawing class. Feel free to ask any questions you’d like during the class, where Ann can also do on-screen mark-ups.
To join, simply return to this page after payment and click on the link below at the date and time of class.
