In this focussed class we'll be taking a close look at how to paint eyes, noses, and mouths in watercolours. We'll start by using pencil to explore the structure of each of these details before moving on to painting, exploring colour and light. Suitable for complete beginners, we'll be studying
-Using Watercolours to Create Flesh Tones
-Brushwork
-Eyes, Noses, and Lips
using plenty of fabulous references!
Please bring
--Watercolour Paper or Mountboard
—Red, Yellow, and Blue Watercolours, Inks, or Gouache. Ann will be using a Rico Design Art Palette
—RECOMMENDED COLOURS INCLUDE: Yellow Ochre, Raw Sienna, Sepia Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Alazarin Crimson or Pyrrol Crimson, Red-Brown, Vermillion, Bistre, Raw Umber, Ultramarine, Pthalo Blue

--Paper Towels/Rag/ Etc... for Wiping
