Beginners' Watercolour Nude
Sunday June 25th, 18:00-20:00 UK Time (Zoom Link Emailed After Purchase)
In this beginners class we’ll be learning to create flesh tones through layering—a practice that involves making thin, quick washes of colour across a base composition. As an introductory class, we’ll be approaching the technique through a thorough examination of the basics of watercolour use before moving on to complete paintings. We’ll be covering
—Drafting a Nude Painting
—Light and Shade
—Color Choice
—Brush Technique and “Washes”
Ann will be using a watercolour palette, although you’re welcome to bring watercolours in tubes. It’s recommended that you bring a set that contains earth tones (Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Crimson, Etc…), but we’ll be covering how to create any colour out of red, yellow and blue.
