Struggling with stiff and lifeless drawings? Learn from the ground up how to create dynamic, active drawings through this comprehensive introduction to gesture drawing. Great for beginners and more experienced artists alike, this class will provide you with an understanding of how to create action in a still figure, and the ways in which you can manipulate your drawing through gesture to convey emotion.
At the end we’ll have a show and tell (for those who feel comfortable showing their work) and the chance for a friendly group critique. If you’re shy or want a more in-depth critique of your work, feel free to e mail an image to Ann at the end of the class who will provide you with visual corrections
